The team is led by Dr. Ding Jun and currently consists of 20 people, with a doctoral degree accounting for 50% and a senior professional title accounting for over 70%. The team mainly leads the planning of CAE software for the shipbuilding industry and the research and application of core technologies for ship structure CAE software, including finite element core solvers, CAE pre and post processing systems, wave loads, structural safety, vibration noise, explosion impact, and other professional analysis module software.


The team has successively undertaken a series of CAE software related projects, including the "Key Technology Research on Ship Industry CAE Software" project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for high-tech ships, the "Ship Structure Performance Simulation and Analysis Software" project, one of the key special projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology for "Industrial Software", and the first and second phases of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission's Central Enterprise Challenge. In the future, it is planned to tackle key problems in the core technologies of professional CAE software such as ship structure, fluid, vibration and noise, with emphasis on core finite element solution, environmental load assessment, structural safety, explosion impact, full frequency fluid solid acoustic coupling, as well as core software technologies such as CAE pre-processing, large-scale sparse matrix solution, and intelligence. In recent years, the team has achieved phased results, publishing more than 10 relevant papers and 5 software copyrights.
